Idlewild Lake Tip Up Party

Join us as we volunteer for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources to gather information for the fisheries biologist to confirm poor growth rates of the lakes native northern pike. We will be available to teach interested fishermen how to collect pike spines and proper measurements. If we can confirm poor growth rates of the pike in Idlewild Lake the DNR will explore the possibility of making it a No Size Limit (NSL) lake for northern pike. All we need is you and your tip ups and bait. Lunch will be grilled on site for all attendees willing to help. We need all hands on deck to collect as much information as possible. We will meet at the public access boat launch on the north end of the lake.
