Dr. Schumacher is the founder of the Plant Based Academy and holds a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from Cornell University's Center for Nutritional Studies. Her journey into plant-based nutrition began after a life-threatening health scare in 2009, which led her to adopt a whole-food, plant-based diet. Since then, she has reversed several chronic health conditions and has been committed to educating others on the benefits of plant-based living.
