- **Event Description**: Join us at the Hutchinson Art Center for our Monthly Children’s Art Projects, led by artist and educator Beckie Vega!

These make-n-take art classes are an opportunity for children aged 6 through 12 to create their own work of art! 

This month, students will meet at the Art Center on Saturday, May 16th and be divided into two groups: Group A (1:00 to 2:30 PM) and Group B (3:00 to 4:30 PM), with each group covering different skills. And this time, parents are invited to join their child and create works of art together! Each group art class costs $10 per child-and-parent pairing.

The theme for May’s project is Printmaking!

Students will learn and practice two types of printmaking – collagraph and intaglio – using everyday materials such as styrofoam and cardboard. Students will use skills in shape, space, and line.
