Her experience spans from selling residential real estate at ReeceNichols of South Central Kansas to expanding local Youth Leadership outreach as the Program Coordinator at Rise Up Reno Prevention Network.

Carissa's strategic goals in her role include maximizing Hutchinson's economic development potential by ensuring adequate housing supply and exploring infill development strategies. She actively collaborates with local organizations like New Beginnings, Interfaith Housing, and the Hutch Rec’s neighborhood development division to develop effective solutions for local housing challenges.

Her personal dedication to Hutchinson is matched by her professional fervor, making her an influential force in neighborhood vitality and housing accessibility. Beyond her professional life, Carissa is a mother of two awesome children, an avid reader, and enjoys golf, traveling, cooking, and wine tasting
