The evening will showcase the creative minds behind some of country music’s biggest hits, who together have penned more than 60 No. 1s. More than just a star-studded night of music, the event benefits the local community through the Firstborn Fund, established by Galyon as a way to give back to families and fuel creativity in the very place that shaped her.
Across her 20-year career, Nicolle Galyon has penned 10 No. 1 hits including Miranda Lambert’s ACM Award-winning “Automatic,” Dan + Shay’s multi-platinum GRAMMY Award-winning song “Tequila,” Morgan Wallen’s multi-week No. 1 “Thought You Should Know” and more. In addition to her songwriting credits, Galyon has released two of her own artist projects, including the “candid and vulnerable” (Forbes) firstborn, the name-sake of the Firstborn Fund, and subsequent EP, second wife, which offered a new perspective into her life as a wife after making a career writing about her hometown, heartbreak and the people that shaped her. As one of Nashville’s most successful multi-faceted creatives, Galyon founded the female-focused label and publishing house, Songs & Daughters, in 2019, home to Emmi Elliott and Lauren Watkins.
