THE FIRST MOVE — U18 CHESS TOURNAMENT

A fun, unrated junior tournament designed to give young players the experience of real tournament chess in a welcoming environment.

They don't need to be an experienced tournament player. Tournament rules will be explained, games will use chess clocks with 15 minutes per player, and the focus is on giving young players the confidence to take that next step.

Plus, there are some fantastic achievements to play for:

- Tournament prizes
- Special Girls Trophy
- NEW Rising Player Trophy for a first-time competitor, supported by Parallel Space
