Ever wished you could bring them back to life and share them online, but weren’t sure where to start?Hurstville Library now offers digitisation equipment for library members to use in the Local Studies Room.During May, Georges River Libraries’ Research and Community History team are providing free, one‑on‑one sessions where you can learn how to digitise a range of legacy media, including:VHS tapesAudio cassettes35mm and medium‑format filmPreserve your memories and make them easy to share - right here at your library.Cost: FreeAge: 16+Experience: No previous experience requiredEquipment: Please bring your own storage media including SSD Drive with USB-C connection and USB thumb drive.Copyright NoticeThis equipment may only be used to digitise content for which you are the creator or have the creator's express permission to copy.By using this equipment, the user confirms that they are the sole copyright holder of any material they digitise, or that they have obtained all necessary permissions from the copyright owner.Please note that reproducing or converting material protected by copyright may infringe the Copyright Act 1968 (Commonwealth of Australia) unless permitted under the Act.Accessibility Information:Georges River Libraries is committed to providing inclusive library services and programs.
