Renee and I volunteer at this event every year. It is a blast. Renee is involved with registration (typically registering the event participants, volunteers and vendors). I will be helping her on the off time and driving a SXS shuttle to/from the events in the sand dunes for a good chunk of the time.
If you are interested in volunteering, the compensation (volunteer pack) is typically approximately the same as the registration package. So you can save yourself the registration cost. (don’t register if you are volunteering).
We will be taking our Mountaineer this year. We will be heading out on Wednesday evening, staying in Mesquite Nevada that night. Then we will be staying at a hotel in Hurricane until Sunday, then heading home.
All camping spots at Sand Hallow are already booked so you are going to need to find accommodations somewhere nearby.
