We host a UTV and RC sand drag race event on April 25th at Sand Hollow called Battle on The Beach.
Battle on The Beach is a charity fundraiser aimed to help non-profit veterans organization's. Battle on The Beach and the people that make it happen are very passionate about talking care of our veterans, raising awareness about the ones we've lost and supporting the ones we still have.
2026 is our fourth year holding this event. Each year, we choose a different veteran organization.
2021 was for Hero For a Day.
2022 was for Operation 11 Charlie.
2023 was for Race to Erase 22.
This year, we've chosen Race to Erase 22
We have a raffle to raise money. Items for the raffle are appreciated, and cash donations will go directly to them. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the organization.
All sponsors will be advertised on our social media and at the event. All sponsors will be listed on the event t-shirt as well as being featured in the event video, released after the event. Sponsors will also be offered a spot for a booth at the event. All we ask of sponsors is to donate something for the on-site raffle or a cash donations to the organization.
Event date this year April 25, 2026.
Saturday, April 25th registration and vendor set up starts at 8:00 A.M. Flag ceremony and anthem will start at 10:00 A.M. Directly following the anthem will be ATV/RC/SXS sand drags. On site raffle will follow.

about RACE TO ERASE 22
VA statistics report that every day approximately 22 military veterans are killed by suicide, that is one every 65 minutes and this rate is more than twice the number of suicides of the civilian population. What is even more tragic less than 25% of Veterans even register with the VA and only 21 states report their data so the number is actually a lot higher than 22. No matter what the number is Race to Erase 22 believes that 1 is ONE TOO MANY. We can make a difference through awareness, education, support and partnering with other organizations and communities to make sure that the promise our Nation made to its military is kept and that are here for all who serve.
About This Cause
We are an all-volunteer organization made up of civilians, active duty and Veterans, off road racers and Veteran Advocates who volunteer our time to raise awareness about military suicide and provide resources and information about suicide prevention, treatments and assistance when in need. We work on trying to erase the stigma of mental illness and that is a sign of strength and not weakness to ask for help. We encourage the public to reach into anyone they think may need help, instead of waiting for them to reach out. In certain situations, provide financial assistance, or support to Veterans in temporary need or provide information of organizations that can assist. We also offer opportunities for our military to participate in jeep adventures, UTV rides and other off roading events. We honor many of our fallen soldiers we have lost to suicide due to the invisible wounds they incurred while serving our county by placing their photos and stories on our Gone, But Never Forgotten Memorial Wall and displaying our wall at public events. We share their stories so that they will never be forgotten and hopefully will prevent others from taking their own life.
