November Series Title: Church on Monday (Christianity is not just a Sunday thing, it’s an everyday thing)
Nov 2: God is So Big… Jason McConnell will be preaching as our guest. He will likely talk about God’s preeminence, transcendence, omnipresence, or any other trait that reminds us to serve Him in all areas of life and at all times. He will probably use Isaiah 40.
Nov 9: Responding Like Jesus… humility, compassion, personal attention, practical solutions, thoroughly biblical answers; these are things that are important on Tuesday at work, on Wednesday at school, on Friday night at a party, and on Saturday morning at home with the family. (Philippians 2 and/or Luke 10)
Nov 16: Come Over to Our Place… church is not a place, it is a people, therefore we must learn to BE the church rather than GO to church. Of course we can and should come together or assemble for worship corporately, but we should be connected all the time! “Loving on” each other and “doing life together” are more than just trite churchy phrases, this is the way of koinonia or fellowship in and among believers. (1st Thessalonians 5)
Nov 23: The Food Bank is Making a Difference… The service we provide to our community is just as biblical and significant as the fellowship we have with one another. Either one alone is like only having half a horse. (James 2)
Nov 30: Smiles are Contagious… this message is meant to be an inspiration and motivation to optimism and cheerfulness. Need I say more? A merry heart is like medicine. A downcast countenance sucks the life out of the guilty individual and out of everyone they encounter. The joy of the Lord is our strength, so let’s embrace it fully! (Philippians 4)
