Worship with Money

6/1 - What is Money? …Deuteronomy 14:22-29. Money is our time, energy, and expertise boiled down to a liqueur - it is us in a transferable form. The Bible has so much to say about money because of its significance and what it represents and how powerful it is. But, it has its limitations, of course. There are both positives and negatives to consider.
6/8 - Loving Money or Loving WITH Money …Ephesians 4:17-32. Money itself is not evil. But, loving Money produces all kinds of evils. Loving WITH money or using money to love well is wise and an investment in eternity (which we will talk about more fully on the 29th). In fact, loving WITH money is like converting or exchanging material currency for spiritual currency.
6/15 - Living within our Means …1st Timothy 6. Emphasizing contentment and also the dangers of consumer debt and living on credit. Trusting God and His sovereign provision is a very spiritual discipline.
6/22 - Saving or Trusting …Matthew 6. Embracing the calling of God upon us to trust in God, not in ourselves; specifically not our own financial resources.
6/29 - Investing in Eternity …1st Corinthians 3. The currency of heaven. What will be valuable there? How do I build eternal wealth while here on earth?
