- **Event Description**: SantaCon Huntsville is an annual event where groups of people dress up as Santa Claus (and other holiday characters like elves, reindeer, or Mrs. Claus) and gather to celebrate — by parading through city streets and visiting pubs.

This will be the Fifth year that we are mirroring an event that has been going on for over 25 years in Whitby, North Bay and grown into a global phenomenon held in hundreds of cities around the world, including New York, London, Toronto, and Sydney.

The goal is to find families in need (Santa Cause) who will receive the money we have collected.

Enliven Cancer Care was our ‘Santa Cause’ last year and they really appreciated our donation  of over $ 3000.
Our goal is to remind people what Christmas is all about. And make sure to invite other like-minded Santa’s to join us on this fantastic evening.
This year our donation will be going to ‘Adopt a Huntsville  Family’ organized by Community Living and Jennifer Jerrett. We will be given 3 or 4 families that have a wish list.

Simple rules folks
1) $30 each to Santa Val for the Santa Cause to participate. Please wear a Santa Suit, elf suit or something festive.

2) Please DO NOT drink and sleigh, that’s not a Santa thing to do.. We are getting together to help a “Cause”, NOT create one.

3) Please remember you are (or at least most of the time responsible adults), with family and friends that depend on you ?

4) If you know of any companies or businesses that would like to donate to our grassroots movement please have them contact me directly via PM or send an e-transfer to valeriekittner@gmail.com (no password required) 

5) Our preliminary Pub route will be:
Chuck’s Roadhouse for dinner 5:30 -7:00 pm
Moose Delaney’s 7:15-7:55 pm
Canvas Brewery 8-8:55 pm
Mill on Main 9:00- 9:55 pm
On the Docks Pub 10:00 to whenever
We will be walking this route through the streets of Huntsville.
Hopefully, this event will grow each year.
