We’re close to having our event approved, so what better time to try out our 5k course. 

Everyone’s welcome, come walk or run. There’s no formal registration for the preview run.

For those interested in seeing how parkrun works (timing and results), come along at 7.30 am and we can run through the parkrun virtual volunteer app, before commencing at 8. 

We’ll start on “Elgie’s Walk” on the Hays Farm trails. The closest address on Google Maps is the Hays Farm Clubhouse at 1117 Haysland Rd SW, Huntsville, AL 35803, map in the comments. 

There’s parking at the new sports fields on the other side of Haysland Road, and there’s a pedestrian underpass under Haysland Road. 

Please note, we’re not an official parkrun event yet. As such, by participating in our parkrun Preview Run #2, you assume the risk of liability and/or injury. There are no representations made as to the safety of the route - the route is closed to traffic, but there is potential for vehicles to gain access, and there may be cyclists present. If running with a dog, please use a short handheld leash.
