Spend a week investigating the tools, techniques, and science behind modern biotech careers. Tour high-tech lab spaces and get a behind-the-scenes look at one of Alabama’s fastest-growing career fields. Young researchers will perform student-driven experiments and maintain a lab notebook of their discoveries.Students must have completed Code of Life Camp to be eligible for two advanced biotechnology camps: I Want to Work in a Lab Coat and/or The Secret Lab Challenge.Registration will close on June 19th, or once we reach capacity.Eligibility and Tuition:Eligible to rising 6th-8th gradersMust have taken, or be currently enrolled in, a Code of Life Camp.$250 tuition is due in full upon registration. Tuition also includes a daily snack and a lab coat.Refund Policy:Full refund (minus any processing fees) - up to thirty (30) days prior to the program start dateHalf refund - up to fourteen (14) days prior to the program start dateNo refund – less than fourteen (14) days prior to the program start datePrior to registering, please review our Lab Safety Contract, Waiver, Release/Emergency Contact and Media Release forms. All forms must be signed during checkout in order for students to attend.
