WILLIAM BURKE "WILD" HARESite DirectorSpace Development Agency - SouthMr. Burke “Wild” Hare is the Site Director for Space Development Agency-South (SDA-South) based at Redstone Arsenal, AlabamaMr. Hare serves as the Senior Government Civilian representing the Space Development Agency’s Missions and Functions focused primarily with enabling Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) Space Operations assigned to SDA-South.Mr. Hare oversees a team of Government Civilians, Contractors and Military Members assigned to the Space Development Agency focused on the buildout, standup, and support to SDA’s PWSA Mission roles assigned to SDA-South.Prior to assuming his current position at the Space Development Agency, Mr. Hare worked for several years as a Defense Contractor supporting several Directorates at the Missile Defense Agency.Mr. Hare served for 22 years in the United States Air Force in Global Positioning System (GPS) Space Operations, Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Operations and Maintenance, along with Space, Nuclear and Missile Defense Leadership positions. Mr. Hare retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.
