Stitched with Love - Monthly Sewing Bee

You're invited!!!
Come along to our first monthly Sewing Bee as part of our Stitched with Love Project.
Running for our first year in 2026, the Stitched with Love Project calls on our senior community and anyone who loves to crochet (and knit) to create 20x20cm squares. These squares are then lovingly stitched together into beautiful, full-sized blankets by our volunteers. The finished blankets are donated to local organisations and whānau in need, ensuring warmth, comfort, and a touch of aroha stays right here in our community.

These are relaxed community gatherings where volunteers come together to sew, sort, stitch, and share stories. Whether you’re a seasoned maker or picking up a needle for the very first time, these sessions are all about connection, creativity, and caring for our community. Free to attend.
Join us, bring a friend, or just bring yourself, there’s always a seat, a cuppa, and good company waiting.
