Frank Baum’s The Marvelous Land of Oz and Ozma of Oz, taking place 6 months after Dorothy’s return from Oz, she finds herself in a mental institution being treated for insomnia with electroshock therapy, after escaping she finds herself along with her chicken, Billina back in Oz only to find the Emerald City in ruins and her friends turned to stone, they set out with their new friends Tik-Tok, Jack Pumpkinhead and the Gump to save Oz from the vain princess Mombi and the evil tyrant The Nome King.
