Join us March 18th for a vibrant, hands-on cooking workshop celebrating the bold flavor, versatility, and powerhouse nutrition of kale!
👨🍳 Chef Joe will lead a live cooking demo, guiding participants through simple, chef-level techniques for prepping, massaging, sautéing, roasting, and balancing kale’s natural bitterness in delicious, approachable ways—from crispy and savory to fresh and bright.
🌱 Chef Devyn, our Farmer Liaison and seasonal produce expert, will walk you through the kale family—from curly to lacinato (dinosaur) to baby kale. You’ll learn how to select the freshest bunches, store them properly, and understand how texture and flavor shift with different cooking methods.
🥕 Miss Leah, our Registered Dietitian, will share the powerful nutritional benefits of kale, including how it supports heart health, bone strength, and overall wellness—and practical ways to incorporate it into balanced, family-friendly meals.
