- **Event Description**: You asked for the best tournament to come back, and we listened. The Empire Open at Rainbow Lanes in Huntington Indiana is back.  This tournament is well run and offers a fair pattern and scoring pace for all styles! Even to low minus makes cut here each year!

The Format-5 games of qualifying across 5 pair of lanes moving a pair right after each game. After that the top 4 from each squad will be guaranteed into the top 12. But, after both squads and combined scores the top 4 for the tournament will receive a first round bye automatically into the round of 8.

Entry Fee $80.00

Squad A 9:30am - Squad B 1pm - Match Play 4pm

 1). SCRATCH TOURNAMENT
 2).  TOURNAMENT BASED ON 60, CAP OF 72 BOWLERS (36 BOWLERS PER SQUAD)
 3).  5 GAMES OF QUALIFYING MOVE A PAIR RIGHT AFTER EACH GAME 
 4. TOP 4 QUALIFIERS FROM EACH SHIFT WILL ADVANCE
5. AFTER THE TOP 12 IS DECIDED, THE TOP 4 GET A FIRST   ROUND BYE
6).  ********NEW MATCH PLAY**********  
THE TOP FOUR POSITIONS FOR COMBINED SQUADS WILL  RECEIVE A FIRST ROUND BYE. 
THE REMAINING 8 PLAYERS WILL ALL BOWL TWO GAMES  CUTTING TO THE TOP 4 ELIMINATOR STYLE 
NEXT ROUND WILL CONSIST OF THE TOP 4 AND THE 4 FROM  THE FIRST ROUND BOWLING TWO GAMES 
AND  CUTTING TO THE TOP 4  -THE REMAINING 4 WILL BOWL A ONE GAME MATCH CUTTING  TO THE TOP TWO.
THE FINAL TWO WILL BOWL A ONE GAME MATCH FOR THE TITLE
  
7).  ONE LANE COURTESY WILL BE OBSERVED   
8).  NO DRESS CODE   
9).  OPEN TO ALL BOWLERS INCLUDING PBA   
10).  MANAGEMENT RESERVES RIGHT TO MOVE BOWLERS   IN CASE OF MECHANICAL PROBLEMS  
11).  YOUTH CAN PARTICIPATE, PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED   TO YOUR SMART ACCOUNT   
12).  All DECISIONS BY TOURNAMENT MANAGEMENT ARE FINAL.
