Consider upcoming “250th” celebrations, the much-longer history of humans on the landscape in the Green Mountains and Champlain Valley, and the much, much, much longer stories of how birds have evolved with, use, and been influenced by water and waterways. Ponder habitats, adaptations, and interactions.

TODAY is the last day to submit artworks in any media, by new or returning artists, of any age, to the Wings • Waters • Ways art show by 11:59 PM!

Creators can submit up to 3 visual, written, or audio pieces for consideration via an online form, email, or postal mail (See details at the Call to Artists).  Each work submitted should be accompanied by your contact info and a brief description of the piece (type, media, when made) and a short explanation of the myth you are drawing on, debunking, or creating for our future. No works using generative AI. There is no fee to submit your work.

Entries are due by Monday, March 23, 2026, 11:59 PM

We expect to inform creators about acceptance in early April. The art show runs from May to October at the Birds of Vermont Museum.
