WSL Sundown Sets: Chevy Metal Live at the Beach Bar (21+)

WSL presents a performance on the sand with Chevy Metal as part of its Sundown Sets festival at SoCal's biggest celebration of surf and summer, the 2025 Lexus US Open of Surfing presented by Pacifico, in Huntington Beach.

This intimate concert at the Beach Bar will feature Chevy Metal, with an opening performance by The Alive. Originally founded by Taylor Hawkins, legendary drummer of the Foo Fighters, and now headed by his son Shane, Chevy Metal has shared the stage with rock luminaries such as Dave Grohl, Joan Jett, and even the legendary Mick Jagger. The band channels the spirit of old-school rock and roll, delving into the rich soundscape of the 70s and 80s in their dedication to preserving and celebrating the timeless magic of classic rock.

Opening for Chevy Metal is The Alive, with influences ranging from Sabbath, Nirvana, Rush, to Idles. The Alive was launched between surf and skate sessions in 2018.

The show takes place on Friday, August 1 on the eve of the closing weekend of the 2025 Lexus US Open of Surfing. Tickets are extremely limited. You won't want to miss this!
