Your guide will help you identify which birds are singing as the sun rises over this historic wildlife site on Migratory Bird Day. Remember to bring your binoculars, warm clothing, walking/wellington boots and your travel mug full of your favourite morning brew.We will also be celebrating International Dawn Chorus Day, which takes place on the first Sunday in May, and is the worldwide celebration of nature's greatest symphony. All across the world people rise early to revel in the sweet sound of birdsong, from rattling wrens in Rotherham to crooning cowbirds in the Caribbean.Cost: £12 Wildlife Trust BCN Members, £18 Non-member, plus Eventbrite fees.Time: 5.30am-7.30amPre-booking is essential.Attendees should park at the far end of Chapel Road on the bank of the Great Raveley Drain and meet at the Woodwalton Fen Nature Reserve entrance bridge.Please note, toilets will not be accessible for this event. Please also be aware that there are a large number of ticks and other biting insects at Woodwalton Fen, so long trousers tucked into socks and closed-toe footwear is recommended.
