**clinic will be coached by current USA National Field Hockey Team member & Olympian, Phia Gladieux. 


Field hockey is a fast-paced, exciting sport that’s growing across the U.S. but still new to North Carolina. Our Field Hockey Clinic introduces players to the game through fun, supportive skill-based instruction.

New players will be experience a fun and engaging introduction to the sport of field hockey, while current players will strengthen their skills. Our coaches use age-appropriate drills, skill stations, and games to help athletes build confidence, coordination, and a love for the game. 

No prior field hockey experience is needed!
Clinic geared towards ages 6-12.

Each session will focus on new topics such as:
Understanding the rules of the game; Proper grip and stick positioning; Stick-handling techniques; Basic defensive and offensive skills; Final session will include game play

When: Feb 28 from 9-11
Where: Waymer Park Soccer Field, Huntersville, NC
Cost: $75

Note: field hockey sticks and balls are provided for clinic; mouthguards required; shin guards recommended.
