Summer in Burnham wouldn’t be the same without the Flower Show Fete & Carnival, and we’re looking forward to welcoming residents, friends and visitors back for another fantastic day of community celebration on Saturday 12th July.

The first brochures for this year’s show are now available and can be picked up from outlets across Burnham Market, the Creakes, Docking and neighbouring villages. Whether you’re a regular exhibitor or have always thought about entering, now is the perfect time to get involved and help fill the Horticultural Marquee with the very best locally grown produce, vegetables, flowers, marmalade, lemonade, wine, baking, crafts and photography.

The day begins with the ever-popular Carnival Parade, gathering at 1pm on the village green, and leaving at 1:40pm, before an afternoon packed with entertainment and attractions for all ages on the Burnham’s Playing Field.

This year we’re delighted to introduce Bollywood Sparkles, making their first appearance at the show, while welcoming back two much-loved favourites – the Galaxy Twirlers and the honorable presence  of the Phoenix Pipers, whose performances have become part of the tradition of the day.

In a special World Cup-themed addition, Human Zorbing Football will be making its debut. Expect plenty of fun, laughter and friendly competition as zorbers bounce, bump and battle it out on the field.

Returning favourites include Gray’s Funfair for younger visitors, a wonderful display of classic cars and miniature steam engines, and a great selection of food and drink throughout the day, including the ever-popular Norfolk Thai.

Inside the Horticultural Marquee, you’ll find what has always been at the heart of the Flower Show – a celebration of local talent, creativity and community spirit, showcasing everything from prize blooms and vegetables to baking, preserves, handicrafts and photography.

And as the daytime festivities draw to a close, the celebrations continue into the evening. We’re pleased to confirm that Random ID and Vex will be performing live from 7:30pm, rounding off what promises to be a memorable day.

For generations, the Burnham Flower Show Fete & Carnival has brought our community together, and we hope you’ll join us once again on 11th July to support this wonderful local tradition.
