Birders of all skill levels are invited to join park naturalists and volunteers for a closer look at wildlife on a leisurely stroll at multiple Harris County parks throughout the day. Join us at any or all of the following locations at the listed starting time; a Harris County Precinct 3 staff member will lead a bird hike at each of these locations. Wear closed-toed shoes and bring a reusable water bottle and binoculars. Ages 10+. This count is for the Lake Houston-Humble Circle through National Audubon Society.
5:30 – 7:30 AM: Owl Prowl @ Jesse H. Jones Park
8 - 10 AM: General birding at Jesse H. Jones Park
8:30 - 12 PM: General birding at Alexander Deussen Park
12 – 4 PM: General birding at Sheldon Lake State Park
4:30 – 5:30 PM: General birding at Edgewater Park. (This park is normally closed to the public, but special access is granted for the CBC.)
4:30 – 5:30 PM: General Birding at East End Park at the end of Kingwood Drive
