- **Event Name**: Sangha Spring Workshop
- **Event Start and End Date**: Wed, 01 Apr, 2026 at 07:00 pm (-04:00)
- **Event Description**: We will be exploring Yuval Noah Harari’s transformative work: Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind.

What does mindfulness look like when we zoom out to 70,000 years of human history? In this Sangha series, we’ll explore Sapiens as a way to deepen our understanding of how the human mind evolved, why we think and behave the way we do, and how many of our fears, stories, and identities are not personal flaws—but inherited survival strategies.

Through a mindfulness lens, we’ll examine how beliefs, narratives, and social conditioning shape our inner lives, and how awareness allows us to step out of automatic patterns. This is not a book club about facts—it’s a reflective inquiry into what it means to be human, how consciousness developed, and how mindfulness helps us live more wisely inside this ongoing process.

Sean’s workshops are easy, fun, and welcoming to all, regardless of where you are on your journey. No prior experience with mindfulness required—just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to see yourself with fresh eyes.
