🥾 Crowden Group Walk – Saturday 1st November 🏔️
Join us for a fantastic day out walking the Crowden Group Walk route from Edale, taking in some of the best scenery the Peak District has to offer — including Kinder Scout, Grindsbrook Clough, and Jacob’s Ladder.
📍 Meeting Point: Edale Station
🕘 Set Off: 9:00 AM (please arrive early to secure parking — it gets busy!)
📅 Date: Saturday 1st November
🚶♀️ Distance: ~10 miles
⏱️ Estimated Time: Around 5 hours
⬆️ Total Ascent: 1,647 ft
This is a circular route with a mix of steady climbs, open moorland, and some rocky sections — a great challenge with rewarding views all round. Bring your usual walking kit, plenty of water, snacks, and a packed lunch.
