About the event

Identifying Idaho's Native Trees
Have you ever wandered through an Idaho forest and wondered what types of trees you were seeing? Wonder no more! 'Identifying Idaho’s Native Trees' will teach you how to distinguish a larch from a tamarack. The class will cover key features, biology, and the ecology of Idaho's most common trees.

Presented by: Frank Morado, Idaho Master Forest Stewards, past-president and director of the Idaho Forest Owners Association. Frank currently provides consultation services on a zebra mussel project and remains active in forest-related issues. He is an active UI Extension volunteer and instructs field courses for the Idaho Master Forest Stewards Program.
