This is a great course for anyone who recreates outdoors, whether you are family camping, scouting, solo or with a group of friends. People of all experience levels will learn Wilderness & Remote First Aid and Adult + Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED, and patient assessment through hands-on learning. By the end of the course, you will be able to provide effective first-aid treatment for injuries and illnesses common in outdoor settings and make informed evacuation decisions when medical help may be hours or days away.Your certification will be based on attendence, class participation and demonstration of your understanding of the material. You will receive the certificate 2-5 business days after class. The certificate is good for 2 years.This course is for ages 14+.Need the Wilderness & Remote First Aid course only? Please contact us for code to pay for the WFA course. You need to have a current Adult CPR/AED certification to take the WFA course only.SATURDAY, APR 11 | 8:30AM - 8PMSUNDAY, APR 12 | 8:30AM - 6:30PMWe may end earlier each day depending on class size and timing of content.You must attend both days to be certified. Class materials are provided. A confirmation email will be sent to you that includes what to expect and what to bring before the event.GOOD TO KNOWClass is held over two days. There will be time for short breaks and meals.This class is hands-on. You'll be touching other people and in close proximity of others. Masks are optional.
