About the Series:
Healing Through Art: Creating With Purpose is a creative wellness series designed to support emotional healing and self-expression for Black and Brown women and femme-aligned individuals. Participants are invited to use art as a tool for reflection, restoration, and connection with others in the community.
Each session features a different medium, including painting, collage, wearable art, and more. The workshops are hands-on and include time for group sharing and creative exploration.

Workshops take place from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at 47 N. 5th Street, Hudson, NY on the following Saturdays:
Who It's For:
This space is created with intention for Black and Brown women, femmes, and those impacted by intergenerational trauma, displacement, and systemic harm. All art supplies and light refreshments are provided. Free to attend.
About the Artist:
Chiarra Hughes, MBA (CHIMBA), is a multidisciplinary artist and healing-centered facilitator based in the Hudson Valley. Her work bridges personal storytelling, community care, and cultural resilience through visual arts. She specializes in holding space for creativity, vulnerability, and joy. With lived experience and deep roots in the region, Chiarra brings a grounded, accessible approach to healing through art.
