Recommended for readers ages 6-12, The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program improves children’s reading and communication skills by employing a powerful method: reading to a therapy dog. Readers ages 6-12 will be able to have a 15-minute time with Banjo and his handler, Miss Cindy. Space is limited, so please be early and wait in the gallery for your visit, with your book in hand. A sign-up sheet and required permission form will be at the INFO desk no sooner than three weeks before each month's visit.
