This year’s performance carries extraordinary meaning, marking the 100th anniversary of the Bathurst Family Singers, a pioneering gospel group founded in 1926 by Roland J. Bathurst. Known for their powerful harmonies and family-centered performances, the group included all seven of Bathurst’s children and featured the voice of his youngest daughter, Bonnie Mae Bathurst—mother of Bluebillies founder Melody Guarino.
