- **Event Description**: August 8th-16th is National Science Week in Australia, which is an opportunity to celebrate “the scientific foundation for all our innovative breakthroughs. It was initiated by the Australian government, which organizes their event every August, to celebrate the impact of science, engineering, math, and technology on the world, as well as recognize the contributions of Australian scientists.” 

We decided to host our own Science week as well with every day of the week highlighting a different part of the STEAM methodology! Children and teens of all ages are welcome. Drop in. No sign-up required.

   Tuesday, August 11th from 1:00-2:30pm: Science with Miss Frizzle

   Wednesday, August 12th from 11:00am-12:30pm: Technology, Contraption Creation

   Thursday, August 13th from 1:00-2:30: Engineering, Cracking the Code 

   Friday, August 14th from 11:00am-12:30pm: Art, How Art and Science Intersect 

   Saturday, August 15th from 11:00am-12:30pm: Math, Architecture and Science through Mathematics
