Taizé Worship @ LTUMC

Tap “INTERESTED” to get event reminders — Our Taizé service is held on 2nd Sundays; a quiet, candlelit ecumenical worship service — inviting us to “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). We pray, offer scripture readings, sing songs and receive Communion, as we encounter God in a quiet space and time.

Taizé is evening prayer for all Christian faiths, named for the ecumenical Christian community formed in Taizé, France during World War II. It’s a simple, meditative form of worship, calling us to dwell deeply on Christ's presence around and within us.
