Come join us on Sunday 14th December as we round off our Autumn & Winter season with the fabulous Dizzy Club.
Biography:
Almost no other band seems to possess the ability to perform in so many varied and diverse venues as The Dizzies. You are just as likely to find them performing for a club full of twentysomething cool cats or to an audience of trad jazz fans. Their repertoire is full of artistic contradictions.
Appearing at many different music clubs gives a clue as to why they enjoy such a massive appeal. The music often crosses the genre divide simply because they are so interesting musically. With influences of Hot Club, 40's swing, Blue note Soul and Sinatra often with Latin rhythms gives them an edge most bands would die for. Currently they have 4 albums available from iTunes and on CD. Equally at home performing to 3,000 plus festival audiences or in the intimate atmosphere of a sleazy jazz club, the Dizzies do it everywhere.

Ticket Prices / Availability:
Tickets are priced at £14.00 per person (plus 0.35p booking fee). Tickets can be purchased online via the Huddersfield Jazz website, or on the door on the date of the event.
Note: Payment on the door can now be made by card.
Tickets will be limited to the venue fire safety capacity. Huddersfield Jazz & The Irish Centre reserve the right to refuse entry.
Start/Finish Times / Refreshments:
As per past events the gig will start at 2pm and aim to finishing around 4pm (dependant on performance timings) with a short mid session break. Full bar facilities will be available on the day.

The Irish Centre is located on Fitzwilliam Street in Huddersfield - 86 Fitzwilliam St, Huddersfield HD1 5BB.
Car Parking:
Car parking is available on the street / in the car parks opposite the Irish Centre.
