- **Event Description**: Melody Makers is a stay and play group with a difference 
For pre-school children from birth upwards and their parents, grandparents & carers. A group for both adults and children to benefit from and find friends. Come and have fun in our wide spacious hall with singing, sharing, and snacks. Refreshments are included in the price so relax with some toast, teacake and a cuppa. We also have a craft room with sticking, painting and colouring.



For the children 
We have an educationally planned toy rotation each week, with an imagination corner, gross motor skill toys, and toys for finger manipulation. The music sessions include props, streamers, sticks and instruments. For babies, we do lots of rhythm and movement. For the older children, we enjoy lots of counting, dancing and actions.



For adults 
We are passionate about combating isolation, developing the whole person and increasing connections so that people feel they belong. Through deliberate peer friendships and a space to share and find support, we hope to increase your wellbeing and see you flourish.



We often have an infant feeding peer support volunteer available to support parents, including advice and a baby self-weighing station.  Melody Makers also partners with various Kirklees groups to signpost you to services more specific to your needs.


We currently have 2 Melody Makers sessions running per week (term time):
