Mon 24 Aug - Food and Feast, 10am - 3pm, Ages 8-10

Join us for a day celebrating all things food! Participants will enjoy a variety of creative, hands-on activities inspired by food, history and the local heritage of Colne Valley Museum. 

From a food related treasure hunt to creating a collaborative vegetable-printing every activity has a delicious connection.

Participants will also help prepare and bake food in the Victorian kitchen that will be served as part of a shared lunch. 

It's a fun-filled opportunity to explore the history of food, get creative and discover how people lived, cooked and ate in Victorian times. 

As part of the summer workshop programme, participants will also have the opportunity to work towards their Arts Award Explore qualification through a range of creative activities and personal reflections.

This workshop is free and a number of places are reserved for children who are eligible for benefit-related school meals.
