Come along to a bat walk where our wild experts will help you to discover or dig deeper into this amazing subject!Using our bat detectors to listen for bats, we can hear their unusual sound and perhaps catch sight of them too!Embrace your wild side - what to expect:A ccessibility and terrainNetwork of accessible footpaths throughout the reserve. Circular route to Castle Hill (with some road crossings) via public rights of way. Trail to Upper Park Wood which has magnificent bluebells in the spring.The car park and Cre8 Barn are suitable for wheelchair access. Public rights of way around the reserve can often be steep with uneven or muddy ground.What to bring/wearThis event takes place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! Sturdy footwear is always recommendedWaterproof clothing/insect repellent (weather dependent), torch (night event), binoculars.Toilets and cateringThere are toilets, accessible toilets and a picnic area on site.
