Andrew Michael Hurley event

Andrew Michael Hurley is one of James’ favourite authors of all time and we are honoured to welcome him back for an event at Read.

Andrew, the master of northern folk horror, is coming on Saturday 15th November at 7pm to celebrate the release of his latest novel.

Terminally ill, Tom Shift, is invited by his new friend, Oliver Keele, to the rundown seaside resort of Saltwash on a bleak November afternoon. Haunted by guilt and regret, both men are soon joined by dozens more guests, dressed in their finest and eager to take part in a prize draw that offers deliverance from their remorse.

Chilling and thought-provoking, this is an expertly crafted story filled with menace and mystery.
