The art of hand sewing with intention and care with no rules is what slow stitching is all about. It’s not about perfection, but rather its focus on the process, the materials and the joy of creating something by hand. This stitching series encompasses eight classes covering slow stitching, embroidery, visible, mending, cross stitching and fabric collage. Slow Stitching is portable and you can take it with you wherever you go, setting it down and then picking it up, continuing at your own pace. The projects that we finish in each class can be used in a variety of decorative ways, such as framed art, sewn onto pillows, sweatshirts, jean jackets, or made into pockets to sew on clothing. Disconnect from technology and join us in embracing the calming rhythm of hand stitching in our own little stitch community. Number One in the Slow Stitching Series: The Six Stitches – Endless Possibilities Embroidery Class. Come learn, six different stitches and their variations to use in slow stitching, embroidery and visible mending. This class will come in handy if you are attending the June 7th Jean Jacket Workshop. *Beginner friendly *All material supplied *Please bring a pair of sharp scissors * two hour class When: Sunday, March 29, 2026 Where: Extending Grace Cost: $45 We are limiting the class to 6 participants. Extending Grace is located in the middle of downtown Hubbard, OH. There is abundant parking in the city lot across the street. We do require that you fill in all information so we can contact you if we have any questions regarding your reservation. All supplies will be provided. Due to the customization at ALL our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS FOR WORKSHOPS! However, if you are ill or if you cancel with at least 48 hours notice your FULL reservation fee will be turned into a store credit that can ONLY be used for future workshops.
