Hoxie Elementary School Breaks Ground on New $20 Million

Hoxie, Ark.— Hoxie Elementary School will celebrate the groundbreaking of its new state-of-the-art campus
on Thursday, October 3, at 2:00 p.m. The ceremony marks the beginning of construction for a standalone
65,000-square-foot facility, representing a $20 million investment in the community's educational future.
Serving students from kindergarten through 6th grade, the new Hoxie Elementary School will feature:
● Dedicated classrooms for each grade level
● A full-size gymnasium
● Modern cafeteria facilities
● Library Media Center
● Specialized learning spaces
"We are thrilled to embark on this exciting new chapter for Hoxie Elementary," said Kelly Gillham, District
Superintendent. "This new campus represents our commitment to providing the best possible learning
environment for our students."
The project, slated for completion in December 2025, will significantly enhance the educational experience
for Hoxie's young learners. The new facility is designed to accommodate the growing needs of the community
and foster a dynamic learning atmosphere.
