Join Laura from L & S Crafts at the beautiful Howsham Mill between York and Malton for a fun, informative half-day course to learn how to make paper flowers from book paper, maps and sheet music. During the workshop you will make several different types of flower using simple materials such as pages from old books, wire or wood, glue and floristry tape.
You will develop the skills to make further flowers at home. Book paper flowers make lovely gifts, home decorations or even wedding bouquets. Perfect for birthdays, Valentine’s Day, Mother's Day, weddings, your first wedding anniversary (paper) or just to treat yourself!
All equipment and materials, including hot drinks, will be provided, however if you have a favourite book or piece of music that you would like to incorporate, feel free to bring it along.
The venue has free parking and composting toilets. Please note Howsham Mill itself is approximately 1/4 mile walk from the carpark along an uneven path. We recommend that you wear comfortable footwear that you don’t mind getting a bit muddy.
Minimum age for participants is 18 years.
Before booking, please read our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice. Please note, the venue does flood very occasionally causing courses to be cancelled. In the event of this occurring, a full refund would be available.
