Conquer Inhlosane Mountain!
The Dargle Valley stretches out beneath Inhlosane, an iconic hill visible from just about anywhere in the KZN Midlands. At 1,976 metres above sea level, it is one of the highest peaks before the Drakensberg – which can be clearly seen from the top.
Now it's your chance to conquer this iconic mountain!
Event Details:
Meeting Point: Piggly Wiggly, Lions River
Meeting Time: 7:30 AM (We will drive in convoy to the start point)
Hike Distance: 6 – 10 km (two route options available)
Duration: Approximately 4 hours
Elevation Gain: 455m
Difficulty: Grade 3 (a fair level of fitness is required)
Cost:
Adults: R349 per person
Under 13s: R199 per person (regrettably, no toddlers)
Including Transport from Durban: R599 per person

What to Bring:
-Shoes with good grip (hiking boots or sturdy takkies) – NO FLAT -SHOES ALLOWED
-Trail snacks and plenty of water/cold drinks

-Hiking stick highly recommended
-Swimsuit and towel if you'd like a paddle
Make a Day of It!
After the hike, you are welcome to stay and enjoy the beautiful Mount Park Guest Farm. There is a fully licensed restaurant on site serving lovely meals and coffee, or you can bring your own picnic. Take a walk on the farm, enjoy a paddle on the dam, or let the kids play with the friendly farm animals.
Important Notes:
-Minimum Numbers: This event requires a minimum of 10 confirmed bookings to proceed. If the quota is not met, the event will be cancelled and refunds will be processed.
Weather: If the event is cancelled due to bad weather, it will be rescheduled, and a new date will be provided.
