Goose Egg Extended Pysanky Workshop

Pysanky Workshop: Electric Tools & Goose Egg Session

If you’ve already completed a pysanky workshop and are ready to go a little deeper, or if you’d like to jump straight into a more detailed experience, this workshop is for you. We’ll be working on beautiful, pre-emptied large goose eggs and learning how to use electric pysanky tools alongside our flame heated tools. We’ll also learn (or review) pysanky egg design divisions and walk step-by-step through laying out a design before we begin waxing. It’s such an important part of the process, and working on a larger egg gives us more room to clearly see the divisions. We'll have step-by-step design options ready, or you’re welcome to come with your own design idea in mind. The extra time together means we can slow down, focus on detail, and really enjoy the process. This workshop is designed for students who have already completed one pysanky workshop and feel comfortable with the basics, and who are ready for more time, more detail, and a chance to try something new.
