Open Stained Glass Workshop-Experience Required

If you have basic stained glass experience but don't want to invest in the tools necessary to complete a stained glass project or you have the tools and just want to hang out with other stained glass minded individuals then the open workshop is the place for you.

All the tools (breaking and running pliers, cutter, grinder, foiler, and soldering iron)that are needed to work on your project will be available during this time along with flux, wax, and cleaner.

If you have a pattern in mind but don't have any supplies (glass, foil, solder) bring the pattern to the workshop and you can purchase the supplies from me during the workshop. The price for the supplies of foil and solder is per piece of glass in your project so you will not have to buy a whole roll of foil or solder. The price of glass is per foot.If you want you can only buy what is needed for your size of project. We will measure your project and price accordingly. If you have all the supplies then bring them along with your pattern.

In a four hour open workshop you should be able to finish a project that has seven pieces or less and a size around 5" x 7". That is just a guide , it depends on the experience level. This is a work at your own pace workshop.

Please remember the purchase price does not include instruction time (like my beginning classes) or any supplies, just the tools. I will be available to help with any questions while you are working on your project.

Closed toe shoes are required along with safety glasses (supplied ). Due to working with glass and a soldering iron, a Release of Liability form will need to be signed before starting work on a project.

Space is limited to six people

If you will be late for the workshop, that is okay. You can start anytime after the workshop opens
