# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Winter Gala 2025
- **Event Start and End Date**: Thu, 11 Dec, 2025 at 07:00 pm
- **Event Description**: Each year, the Detective Rafael Ramos Foundation hosts this very important Winter Gala, our premier fundraising event dedicated to supporting the programs that help us bring police and community together. Through your generosity, the Foundation has been able to provide thousands of backpacks filled with school supplies, school uniforms for children in need, and scholarships for students pursuing higher education.

This year’s Gala will be hosted by Katie Lusso, WUSA-TV Reporter in Washington, D.C., formerly of News 12 Brooklyn, who was instrumental in highlighting our mission since our earliest days. The evening will also feature an unforgettable live performance by the Queen of Freestyle, Judy Torres, with music all night long by the one and only Ralphie Mercado.

The Winter Gala is not only about celebration but also about recognition. Together, we will honor individuals and organizations who have supported our growth and helped us advance our mission with our Special Awards presentation.

Your ticket includes a lively cocktail hour, a four-course dinner, and a top-shelf open bar—all set against an evening of entertainment, recognition, and community.

Join us on this incredible night of remembrance, recognition, and fundraising. Every ticket purchased helps us continue our mission of ensuring that a child’s first police experience is a positive one, and that bridges of trust and hope are built between law enforcement and the communities we serve.
