- **Event Description**: WE NEED YOU, HOUSTON!  Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are taking our spring walks VIRTUAL!  Houston, Beaumont, & Corpus Christi will be done virtually on May 30th.  Walk outside, on a treadmill and walk or run the full 3 miles, or the distance of your choice!  We are going through rough times without the live event funds being raised, but we are hopeful and will continue encouraging everyone to being powerful, create family teams to walk with, raise funds for a cause. We won’t stop supporting our constituents through programs, services, and research efforts.  We will announce the platform for day of virtual walk communication as the event gets closer and look forward to seeing all of you on May 30th!  
Registrations fees previously paid will go toward your fundraising page and we are changing to the $100 fundraising minimum to get a t-shirt.  We know it's a big change, but we have to do everything possible to keep the Chapter afloat so we can continue taking care of the lupus community!
