When 1,000 young authors and illustrators come together to autograph their hot-off-the-press, I Am Texas book, and pose for pictures next to the 7-foot-tall book, you know history has been made. This year’s theme inspired our next generation to share their love for Texas through stories, poetry, and artwork. We invite you to join us at this year’s Book Signing, Art Auction, and Gala as we come together to break a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the Largest Published Book in the World (by kids).

Since 2009, iWRITE has published over 830 young writers in grades 3-12 in the I Write Short Stories by Kids for Kids anthologies and worked with thousands of students through our "i" The Guy Creative Writing Journal program. Being published at a young age promotes positive self-esteem and encourages a healthy sense of competition. We believe it is important to add early successes during childhood as we shape the future of our community. As the organization continues to grow, your support can increase the number of economically disadvantaged schools across the Greater Houston area that will benefit from iWRITE's writing and publishing programs.
