Together with it, we will perform a set of Four Pieces by Josef Suk, each of them inspired by the folklore and emotional intensity of his native Bohemia. Lastly, hear the famous, fiery Sonata in C minor by Edward Grieg, steeped in Norwegian dance-like rhythms.The Polish Duo will be joined by tenor Mark Swindler for a performance of three songs by Roger Quilter. As always, there will be some storytelling about the music by the artists, delivered directly from the stage! This concert will be a remarkable feast of beauty.
