Speaker - Paul Boehm - Updates from NASA's Artemis Program

Come join the Rotary Club of Houston Skyline as we look to the stars with Paul Boehm of NASA's Artemis Program and Orion Artemis II Mission!

Paul's presentation will provide an overview of NASA's Artemis Program for returning and staying on the Moon. The first test flight was in 2022 with the Artemis I uncrewed Orion mission that traveled around the Moon. The next test flight is the Artemis II which is schedule no later than April 2026 and will be the first crewed mission to send humans back to flyby the Moon and return to Earth. This flight will test the critical life support and crew systems.

Paul Boehm has worked at NASA's Johnson Space center for 36 years during the Space Shuttle and ISS Programs having been a flight controller, crew trainer, and now currently serves as the Crew and Service Module Office Functional Area Manager for the Artemis Program Orion Spacecraft's crew life support, spacesuit, thermal, and flight crew equipment systems.
